The blockbuster Filipino movie, "Everything About Her", has raked in more than P100M in just two weeks in the Philippines is now showing in cinemas across Europe led by United Kingdom. During the TFC (The Filipino Channel) Europe's simultaneous virtual press conference in London with Dubai and Manila on Febrruary 4, leading actor Xian Lim and director Bb. Joyce Bernal faced the monitor screens to answer questions from selected press, community leaders and bloggers.
The message is clear according to Bb. Bernal, "Forgive those close to you who have wronged you in the past, para mas easy ang relationships". She also proclaimed to have converted to Vilmanian from being a die-hard Noranian for years (I hope the fans can easily forgive her). And while Xian is familiar with the character that the ageless star of all season Ms. Vilma Santos portrayed as an astute but malevolent mother, he did not restrain himself from admitting his real-life mother is as twice as diabolical, "Mas impakta pa siya!" he snapped, followed by a shriek of laughter that put everyone in the press room in stitches.
SYNOPSIS: "Everything About Her" highlights the importance of family during hard times, and how these obstacles bring forth understanding and forgiveness. Directed by Bb. Joyce Bernal, it follows the story of a successful businesswoman named Vivian (Vilma Santos), who learned that she is suffering from stage 3 cancer. She then hires a private nurse, Jaica (Angel Locsin), to take care of her. But she's bound to play a bigger role in Vivian's life as she becomes the bridge between the mother and her son Albert (Xian Lim), who have felt neglected all his life. How will the three change and be changed by their circumstances?
